FAQ

Q: Do Skin Doctors test on animals?

A: No. Neither Skin Doctors products, nor the ingredients used in Skin Doctors products, are tested on animals.

Q: Where is Skin Doctors made?

A: Skin Doctors are proudly Australia owned. All of our products are made in Australia, with the exception of T-Zone Pore Strips, made in Korea.

Q: Are Skin Doctors products safe to use when pregnant/breast feeding?

A: Avoid any products that contain Vitamin A when pregnant or breastfeeding including Gamma Hydroxy Forte, Superfacelift, Vein Away Plus, Skin Active Night and Eye Smooth. Please ensure you use products as directed on pack. The use of any product during pregnancy is a personal decision and we would recommend you consult your health care professional if you have any concerns.

Q: Is Skin Doctors suitable for sensitive skin?

A: Skin Doctors products include cosmeceutical strength active ingredients which are very beneficial to the skin but some of these ingredients such as Vitamin A, AHAs and BHAs may not be suitable for sensitive skin. Always patch test our products prior to use and if in doubt use our Skin prescription tool or ask a consultant in store.

Q: My Skin Doctors product is yellow in appearance, is that normal?

A: Yes it is, if your product is: Gamma Hydoxy Forte, Vein Away Plus or Superfacelift. These products will appear yellow due to the Vitamin A ingredient.

Q: Can you use Gamma Hydroxy Forte straight away, or do I need to use Gamma Hydroxy first?

A: Always use Gamma Hydroxy for 3 months before moving onto Gamma Hydroxy Forte.

Q: Can you use Instant Facelift and Instant Eyelift with Moisturiser?

A: Absolutely. If applying moisturiser ensure you apply at least 30 minutes before your Instant products so the moisturiser doesn’t impact the efficacy of your Instant product. Ensure the moisturiser doesn’t leave any residue. We recommend using Supermoist.

Q: Can you use Instant Eyelift and Instant Facelift with makeup?

A: Yes you can. A light coverage (we suggest mineral makeup powder) can be applied over the top of your Instant products. The heavier the liquid foundation, the more the instant firmness and result will diminish.

Q: How can I find out about Skin Doctors events near me?

A: Please refer to our ‘Events’ page on this website, see here: Go to the Event page.

Q: What if I purchased the wrong product or am not happy with my purchase?

A : If you have mistakenly purchased the wrong product Skin Doctors will gladly give you a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Please contact our customer service team via the contact us page for details on how to return the product. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for any opened products.

Q: I want to reorder a product that I purchased last time but I’ve forgotten what it’s called.

A : Your past orders can be viewed once you’ve logged into My Account.

Q: I have a discount coupon. How do I use it?

A : Once you add a product into your shopping cart, a 'Coupon Box' will appear on the side of the screen. Simply enter in your discount code in the space provided, click on 'apply'. Your Cart will then automatically update and reflect your Coupon offer. * Discount Coupons apply to products only, they do not apply to delivery charges. To avoid any delivery charges ensure you spend the minimum required that entitles you to free delivery.

Q: What happens if a product I’ve ordered is out of stock?

A : Skin Doctors does not part ship orders and therefore does not take orders for products that are out of stock. Typically products will be back in stock within a few days.

Q: How much does delivery cost?

A : If the total of your order doesn't reach the required minimum for free delivery, then the delivery charge is $9.95 AUD to anywhere in Australia and $12.95 to anywhere in New Zealand.

Q: How do I get free shipping?

A : Once you have added enough products to your Cart to qualify for free delivery, your Cart will automatically refresh and reflect free delivery!

Q: How long will it take for my goods to be delivered?

A : Skin Doctors (skindoctors.com.au) deliver within Australia and New Zealand. Orders will typically be delivered within 7 working days. If you do not receive your delivery within this time frame, please contact us via the contact us page.

Q: What happens if I’m not home when the delivery person comes?

A : The delivery company will leave a calling card at your address to notify you no one was home when they called. The calling card will have a number for you to call to arrange a suitable delivery time.

Q: Do I need to be present when the good are delivered?

A : Cat Media Pty Ltd is the name that is recorded on your credit card statement.

Q: Is Photo Age Reverse discontinued? If so, what can I use for sun damage/pigmentation?

A: Yes it is. We recommend SD White and Bright and Even Brighter serum. We highly recommend you also use SPF protection during the day to avoid further pigmentation and sun damage.

Q: Is Retanew is discontinued? If so, what else can I use with Vitamin A/Retinol?

Q: Is Potent C is discontinued? If so, what else do you suggest?

A: Yes it is. Vitamin C has the ability to brighten the skin and fight free radicals. SD White and Bright brightens and evens skin tone and has Vitamin E for free radical fighting.

A: Yes it is. We recommend Beetox for plumping and smoothing and Relaxaderm Advance for fighting deep lines and wrinkles.
